New Krylon executions. We are now showing graffiti being painted over with impressionism
style painting (which is also done with spray paint) to show vines or another painting related
to nature slowly covering the graffiti. The tagline is Krylon - Nature Approved. Basically, it
should be showing that Nature always will win, and this non-toxic h2o latex paint by Krylon
is better sustainable than other paints. These are some quick executions I did to see how
they would look. There will be a billboard in this campaign that shows 3 stages of this effect.
Stage 1: Just graffiti on billoard. 2: You see some plants growing up (impressionsism style -
which is painting with dots- like Monet) and stage 3: shows the painted plants nearly taking
over the whole graffiti... 100% non-toxic. Mother nature is happy. Also, coming with the ads
to the consumer is a stencil with every can. The stencil reads as follows -
“Painted By:_________________ With Krylon non-toxic h2o Latex, the nature approved paint.”
So thats so far what the idea is. It's kind of a tricky execution and I still dont know if it will be a strong
enough ad. I dont want to waste all my time with a not-so-great ad since I have so much work this semester.
What do you think? Do you guys want to see any other work from another class? I have one campaign that is
3 print, 1 ambient, 3 outdoor window displays, 1 viral video, and 2 outdoor ambient (bus stop and bus)
that I think will be perfect for this class. If you want I can explain it and scan in everything. Below is
the quick executions. Please lemme know feedback on the idea...
Also, I'll be posting Malava soon and I am working on Tweezerman ads, Photoshoot this next week. We got a hair stylist :)
Okay so the plants in these pdfs if you could look really close its actually just dots of color..
alec,
ReplyDeleteright now, this is too hard to understand...the tagline feels disconnected to the execution. go ahead and post your other campaigns. make sure you bring stuff to class, so we can get you back on track.
